Janet Craig would much rather play than watch. As a child performer she enjoyed the arts and athletics. Janet attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas where she excelled both in theatre and on the nationally-ranked women’s tennis team. Following her collegiate career, she played on the professional tennis circuit where she achieved world rankings in both singles and doubles. After a career-ending injury in the Australian Open, she moved to Los Angeles where she turned her focus to acting, singing, directing, writing and producing. Her early acting credits consist of a wide variety of roles including appearances on network television, film, and in theatre.
WAKE UP, her most recent project, which she cowrote with veteran writer Dan Horan and is slated to direct and act in, was inspired by her personal experiences as a foster parent, work with her family on Skid Row in Los Angeles, and a passion to help end human trafficking. Janet is married to Doug Grossman and they have four beautiful children. Social: http://www.imdb.me/janetcraig
